Kate and T'Challa
"Oh, yes, I know - there is much to love about food. It is life and culture," T'Challa grinned - and he appreciated someone who realized that, and also realized that life was too short to not enjoy what you ate. Why put foods on the 'naughty' or 'forbidden' list? Just eat what you wanted, no guilt necessary.
He ladled them out some punch (it smelled a bit spiked but T'Challa wasn't complaining - a glass or two of something with rum in it wouldn't do him any harm) and took a sip to try it out. Not bad at all. These parties always seemed to, at least, offer a variety of things - some people didn't drink alcohol for one reason or another, and he respected that. "I would think you would make for fine operative material. You are a crack shot with that bow and arrow," he said. "And my royal duties are always busy - we work a lot on outreach now more than ever, which is important. I enjoy it though. There is always something going on which seems to stall progress so I work hard when I can."
