Loki & Peter
Loki's brows drew together for a split second, watching Peter as he spoke. He knew all too well what that feeling was like and could sense Peter might feel the same way. Trying and not being good enough, despite one's efforts, was disheartening and resulted in a lot of self blame.
"It was good enough, for it meant you are a good friend," Loki offered, and thought over what such an object might be used for. "As for that object, nothing good I'd imagine. I know, in Asgard of old, such generated particles were oft used for propulsion or concentrated blasts of energy. I suspect you're right, and Stark would know more."
As for the offer, it warmed him that he spoke to his family about their friendship. Most mortals wouldn't admit such comradeship when he had attacked their planet.
"I'd like that, actually. And I'm deeply honored. Should you find any more thieves, do not hesitate to text me. I can join you on your adventures."
