Loki & Peter
Oh, well, the hug was nice, and it certainly marked for Peter how far they had come - and how far Loki had come, too. Peter was happy, especially after the whole Hammer weapons disaster, to see him doing well. "Can't blame them. I'd feel the same if it was winter all the time." Peter glanced over curiously at the retreating frostgiants before he turned his attention back to Loki. "Yeah! Yeah, that's what I'm up to. It's...going okay?"
The shift to San Francisco had landed him in the biochemistry program with his scholarship thankfully in tact, but it wasn't so much the change in schools that had rattled him. He was a New Yorker born and bred, and as hard as he was trying to get used to the west coast, it wasn't easy.
"I guess it's just hard. I miss home a lot. I miss my aunt." And he worried about her, too. Who was looking after Queens now that he couldn't? There was only so many times he could bug Dr. Strange for a portal over. "But Ned and MJ are here, and that makes the biggest difference." Asgardia itself was proof they weren't the only ones dealing with a sudden home transition. "That kind of happened to you too, right? You woke up one morning and you were here?”
