Loki & Peter
As time went on, Loki's memories had fogged over quite a bit from his earlier incarnation, which was common every time he became another him, or learned more about what happened to that other him. To combat that, he kept detailed notes about personal connections in journals, and relied on what he could grasp from the foggy memories to reconnect. Hopefully this time would be the last time it happened.
Peter Parker, he remembered. Foiling art thieves, strange foodstuffs, an attempt to infiltrate some weapons-mongers gone awry and the Spider-man tried in vain to save him. His eyes lit up as he put these pieces together with the face before him, and he put down his cup to hug onto Peter like he was glad to see him.
"I'm so glad to see you here, my friend." He gave Peter a pat on the shoulder before leaning back to look at him. "Those are Jotuns, or frost giants. It's not recommended to tangle with them. Their temper is as foul as the icy wasteland they hail from."
Loki smiled as he asked, "I'm well. And you? You've likely finished your lesser studies and are moving forward into more specialized interests." He stopped to think that over and blinked a few times. "Did I get that right?"
