It wasn't exactly the answer he wanted to hear, but Frank also knew it was the only answer she could give him. He pursed his lips and nodded his head, sighing softly before fixing his gaze more solidly on Karen.
"Yeah," he replied. "Yeah, that's- that's still true. I'll tell you about it soon. I think you'll be pleased," Frank added with a half-smile. Another nod, it was good to know he had the same kind of priorities in every reality. People were coming back to life, people he might have killed...
"Matt? Who the-?" the name rang a bell. Someone the both of them knew- "My lawyer? Well-" Frank shrugged. Lawyer didn't feel that much of a worthy title for the guy, he'd barely been there through any of Frank's trial. He'd seen a note about it the paper, he remembered. Matt Murdock. "-that's good. For you. You two, uh-" well, no, maybe not, not if other him and Karen had...held hands.
"I am a gentleman," he replied, another small smile twitching at the corner of his lips. "Listen, Karen... maybe we can- maybe- we can try that again? If you like?"
