Frank turned his head when he heard Karen's voice, immediately pulling himself to his feet and moving towards her, lowering his hood on his approach.
"Karen," he said softly, pausing a foot or so from her, stalling from touching her. She looked okay, she looked better than she did the last time he'd seen her.
"Thank you for- I don't-" Frank turned around and glanced at the tree he'd been clinging to when he'd arrived. Arrived. "I don't know what's going on, Karen," he said, speaking softer as though he thought they might be overheard by someone or something.
Scratching his beard, Frank ducked his head. "It's really good to see you but- What's going on? What are we supposed to do here?"
