Karen couldn't believe she was having this conversation again. Not that she minded having it, but she really didn't get this whole thing. The fact that Frank had just vanished, but had been around technically but now he was here and talking to her and had no idea he'd done any of that? It made her head hurt. Very much. Like he'd just rewound in time, gone back and now was here again.
He wasn't going to like it at all. She knew that much. And she was trying to think of how to explain it all without sounding like a lunatic. Again. She headed out to Central Park this time, hands in her pockets as she fought off the chill of being outside in New York during this time of year.
She was trying to remember exactly what she had told him the last time about what was going on. He clearly hadn't talked to Darcy, or Dr. Strange or even Tony Stark. That meant that she was going to be the welcome wagon. That was fine. It was just complicated.
She spotted him sitting underneath the tree, and finally took her hands out of her pockets.
"Hey," she called out so as not to startle him. He probably heard her coming though. "You landed in a nice place." She was looking a lot more like herself, and less like she'd just gotten out of an explosion, so that was good. Time healed all wounds or whatever.
