Peter & Shuri
Shuri's enthusiasm brought a huge grin to Peter's face, "This ship was built to be a workhorse, so her engine tech is pretty old school." He checked the quantum tachyon field generator gauge , looked at it critically, and thunked the gauge by snapping his finger off of his thumb.

Smiling as the levels rose appropriately, "The long range engine drive is based around the Alcubierre bubble theory. She harvests color-glass condensate as she travels through jump points, which gives her the energy for the next jump point.."

Scanning down the control panel, he said "Our thrusters and the in system engines are powered by deuterium set into a crystalline matrix. If we didn't use the jump points , or the downforce cambre ram in system we could probably go five years without doing the refuel and refit. I try to conserve it though because the R/R takes fricken forever."
