Party's Over - the epilogue
The security guard stood there, like an unmovable brick wall, lips in a firm line under mirrored sunglasses. Thor was very intimidating, and Stark was well known. Even worse, the wait staff had given Thor's wife the codename Bridezilla. There was a faint chatter from the man's head even if his lips weren't moving, and the likeliest origin was the earpiece he was wearing.
An update, and by the way the man's brows furrowed, it was a bad one. Even if Thor was intimidating, this wasn't the man's fist rodeo. He persisted.
"We are aware, sir. We're still going to need you to move to your rooms, where we will be around to..." He paused very briefly, like he didn't want to use the more obvious word. "...update you individually about the security breach. Your privacy and the security of this event has been compromised. Escorts will be provided."
"Oh yeah, I'm gonna have to vote nope to that. How about you, unhappy couple?" Tony looked at them both, like it was a tennis match. "I'm all for leaving a shitty review on Tripadvisor."
Tony pointed at the security guard as he said, "And just you wait until we get to Yelp, Shades."
Jane took a cue from Thor and drew herself up to her (not at all impressive) full height. She stood there for a moment, a matched pair with Thor, regal and cold.
"I think my husband and Mr. Stark," the surname was a deliberate choice to highlight Tony's status, "have been clear. We've already been inconvenienced by your inability to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Now you want to inconvenience our guests and embarrass us by forcing us to leave our wedding early. Then you will inconvenience us and our guests again by checking up on us in our rooms. Over some issue somewhere else on your property. You are. Ruining. My wedding."
