Party's Over - the epilogue
Tony veered over when he heard this, looking appalled for his friends being treated this way. Of course, he expected it too, so he jiggled the ice around in his nearly empty glass of a little rum in a whole lot of coke to get the military drone's attention.
"Wow!" he said, like this blew his mind away. "Imagine ruining this bride's special day because of your own security fail. What do you think about this, Thor?"
Thor was thankful he'd prepared himself for this moment. Inside, his heart was full and glad to hear that their mission was a success but there was no way he could say anything here about that.
Instead, he pulled himself as tall as he could, knowing that he cut a very imposing figure, even without a hammer by his side.
"I truly believe that cutting this short would indeed ruin my wife's very special day, considering everything that has gone on for us. You are aware she has been through an ordeal as of late, being falsely accused of heinous crimes of which she is fully exonerated."
He'd conveniently leave out it was his fault.
"She has dreamed of this moment and to deny her that, to deprive her…" he narrowed his eyes. "I should hope it not come to this."
