The Escape - closed thread
As relieved as he was when he stepped back and the collar fell off, Loki wasn't about to say why there was a tracker up his nose. In fact, he'd rather not admit helping a bigger monster than he ever was. It was a small price to pay to have his skull left intact.
It was good to see his wife again, his heart feeling fit to burst. And Wanda, whom he would count among his priceless few friends. He wanted to visit with her and see her boys again. During the late nights here, he wondered who else this doctor was experimenting on. He never saw anyone. But his thought often strayed to if they were captured, what might happen to them too...
Regardless of such fears, he was reassured by their presence. The tracker. He drew a deep breath in and said, "Ahh...yes."
With his own magic, he cast a spell and cupped a hand under his nose. With a faint (yet no less sickening) smulching sound, what looked like a tiny capsule fell out, accompanied by a small trickle of blood. He closed long pale fingers around it and rubbed the back of that hand over his nose. It was a superficial bleed, and he healed fast.
"I know just where to put it." When he opened his hand up, a small glowing green insect was there, a magical construct that he whispered in Asgardian to. It lifted up on wings so swift they were a blur, and flew out of the open door, finding an escape. "It will be eaten by a fish. And thereby, send them on a wild goose chase."
He smiled gratefully at them both before asking, "How are we to escape? Because I say unto you both, right now, we must all urgently get off this island."
