People could quite honestly tell Bruce a thousand times over that something wasn't his fault but he always found a way to twist it so it was his fault. It definitely wasn't healthy nor a good head space to be in but he'd been in it for so long that getting out of it seemed pretty much impossible. It didn't help that he wasn't alone in his head.
"Years," he said with a small snort. "He was some gladiator in this space arena. Champion to be exact." He wasn't entirely sure if he was proud or disgusted by that fact. "In space, that is." Bruce was aware that he wasn't explaining this very well. "And then Thor turned up and the rest is pretty much history."
He shot her a grateful look as she was willing to share food and he did help himself to a piece. "And yeah it's good to be back, still weird, but good." He dropped his gaze and cleared his throat. "And you uh you look good, I mean you- You look like you're doing okay."
