Bruce was observant, attentive, and all the things that meant he could tell a lot about a person by their facial expressions or body language and he used that to help him navigate the mine field that was social interaction. Difficult to say the least especially when he had a collection of baggage most people would take one look at and run in the opposite direction. Natasha on the other hand was really good at masking everything but then she had been a spy for however long so it made sense. Bruce was seconds away from tearing it into small pieces but he refrained for the time being, eyes lifting to regard Natasha. "And I've heard. Kind of difficult to play catch up but you know that's my fault."
Bruce gave a small nod before he shrugged his shoulders. "Well I wasn't really myself for the last couple years so maybe if I had been I would've come back sooner."
