Who: Open Thread
What: House Warming Party
When/Where: March 1st in New Asgard

On the surface, it all looks like a perfect day for the party. Thor has ensured great weather, meaning even the backyard is set up with chairs, food and drinks -- and being an Asgardian party, there is no shortage of food or drinks. Actually, maybe be careful which ale you take. Some are for our ..hardier friends.

Someone has taken over the sound system, not sure who, but Spotify is playing some oldies, and if Peter was there, he'd greatly approve.

The hosts are mingling and walking around, smiling and pretending things are great. If you squint though, you might notice that they have somehow become experts at ignoring each other and not being in the same space.

For those that have cleared it before hand, there are bedrooms upstairs that you can use to sleep in. Otherwise, the hosts kindly ask that you remain downstairs.

Jane was glad to see all signs from the previous day's weather were gone. Thor's mood seemed to be stable enough to ensure clear skies, at least. Not that Jane knew for sure. Other than what was absolutely necessary to finish setting up for the party, they hadn't spoken. Every time their paths brought them close together, it was easy to find someone else to greet or something else to check on.

She was nursing an old fashioned now and snacking on the food they'd ordered from town since neither wanted to cook. Wearing a simply cut green dress with a hem at mid calf and a pair of low, flat boots, she looked everything was going to plan at least.

Loki sidled up wearing a female guise and began looking over the food. As much as she wanted to ask, it was impolite to do that when there was a party going on. Try not to upset the hosts was a rule that mother had drummed into her children's heads. If they were visiting another realm, insulting the host could start things like...oh the usual...wars.

"Hello Jane," she said, trying not to look curious. "It's a lovely party and thank you for having us. Oh, I see there's a cheese platter? Fantastic. I'm utterly famished."

She reached for a small plate, plucked up one round cracker and a lone square of artisan cheese, and layered the two together as though melding thin sheets of gold. Voila! Dinner was served.

	"Hi, Loki," Jane said with a smile. She was a little nervous, wondering if any of the Asgardians would mention the storm. Hopefully, not. Or if they did, only to Thor since he was responsible.
