Tony & Peter P
"I know," Peter said, miming a shudder. "It’s nightmare fuel." A world without Shake Shack wouldn’t be much of a world at all to Peter, so it was a good thing that wasn’t the reason for Tony’s distraction wasn’t that - but what was it, then? He didn’t buy the excuse that everything was fine, though he had faith if it was anything world-ending Tony would at least tell him.
"I mean, I’m gonna worry about some things," Peter pointed out, because he was always a little worried about Tony. "It’s been that kind of year." Between undusting into this universe and all the memories that had unfolded over the past several months, things had been rough. But nowhere as rough as things were in the other dimension, which was why Peter felt so lucky to be here with Tony at all.
He nodded along with the information about the eScape perpetrators, even if the 'at a distance' comment went right over his reckless spider head. "Cool - yeah, sounds like a project for the new year." He scrolled over the information Friday sent briefly on his phone before pocketing it again. Tonight wasn't for working, especially when he had a date. "We'll figure it out. And if anything else is up...we'll figure that out too." Just in case whatever was on Tony's mind needed some optimism.
