"No, I'm not mad," Darcy said. She wasn't sure there was a word that could accurately sum up her emotions at the moment, but mad wasn't even in the running. "What's to be mad about? Neither one of us had a clue that it was even a possibility." She'd be sitting down later and trying to remember if her dad, well, the man she grew up thinking was her dad, had ever said or done anything that might have been a clue. Off the top of her head, she couldn't think of anything though.
She smiled at him. "It's definitely weird. And unexpected. But it's not a bad thing. You're cool. Unless you're going to start, like, lecturing me about making poor life choices, sleeping around, and staying out late. That wouldn't be cool."
