Tony & Darcy
Well, that was one way to ring in a new year. Not the way Darcy would have chosen, but okay. It wasn't the worst thing that ever happened to her, not by a long shot, though it was a lot. She was pretty sure her parents never had a clue, or at least if they did, they'd never let on that it was a possibility.
"Why are you apologizing?" she asked, shaking her head at him. "I mean, how were you supposed to know? My mom probably didn't even know your name." She wasn't blaming either of them for that.
Darcy ran a hand through her hair. She honestly wasn't sure how she was supposed to feel about this. Tony was great. And they had a lot in common. Hopefully this revelation wasn't going to cause any problems for him with Pepper or Morgan. She would feel guilty if that was the case.
"And why did you think I'd be mad?" she asked, wrinkling her nose. "Does this mean I can keep your credit card?"
Hopefully she'd never hit on him. That would just be icky.
