The discomfort was clear, and Loki could understand it. Midgardian fashion wasn't as comfortable as Asgardian dresses. Her own dress - so off the shoulders that it was nearly halfway down her upper arms - was being held up by a spell.
"Yes...and no," was the answer to hiding. Her nose wrinkled slightly at the thought of Thor and Jane being connected at their hips. That seemed a little lewd. Best not to comment, even if it might be funny. She wondered if Jane would turn as red as her dress, but didn't want to upset any tenuous good will at this moment.
"Shape-shifter," she explained. "I'm always me, even if I've rearranged my physical being into another form. Into a woman, a man, any manner of creatures...." She paused to take a sip of champagne, saying with a sigh, "You don't look like you're enjoying this overly much. Will you both be returning to New Mexico soon afterward?"
