Tony & Darcy
This was his worst nightmare. Not that Darcy was his daughter, but that she had a shitty childhood because he didn't know. Then again, his face was buried in engineering half of the time, being a grease monkey. Pep and Morgan kept him from getting lost in that entirely.
"They didn't ditch on you, did they?" Tony asked, a little too insistently. What if they abused her? Oh hell no, someone better not have. He almost gripped Darcy's hand too tight before forcing himself to relax. "Or worse. I hope it wasn't worse."
He rolled his eyes, looking upward. It looked like he was praying to the imaginary ceiling god. His mouth, which didn't have brakes on it at the best of times, opened and he said, "Oh my god, I couldn't deal with myself if my kid had to eat dog food to survive."
