Delivery
The portal opened and a gift was left on the table for Wanda. Inside is a smooth golden globe that would easily rest within the palm of a hand. It has a flat bottom to set on a table without rolling around. The only ornamentation is a loosely fitted ring, set flush into the midsection of the orb and etched with runes. Some of the etchings are faded more than others, as though worn away after hundreds of years of being held.

Hand-written instructions are as follows:

Touch the orb to activate the device, while imagining what you wish to see. The ring will spin, casting an illusions of light and shadow to mimic your thoughts. It can be used as a dim light for children afraid of the dark, a bright light for emergencies, or to hide in the dark if in danger. The effect is not infinite, and it will only fill one room at a time.

Along with the orb is an ornament shaped like a goat made of dried straw, a julbocken, held together with red ribbons for a Scarlet Witch. One ribbon is looped long to hang it on a tree. Around the neck is a tag that has god Jul og et godt nyttår til deg written on it. The writing magically shifts to be readable in any language known to the person who is touching it.
