Okay. Not really hated. More annoyed that he had to actually do something. Actually, that wasn't even right either, since by the time he arrived at Hope's apartment, he was just meh about it all.
It was apparently Peter's responsibility to do the yearly apartment checks, and he couldn't believe that he had a binder full of official papers just to check off that the light bulbs worked, or that the fire extinguisher was still valid. There was even a note regarding the stove. Peter argued that there should be someone to do this, which Tony had pointed out that Peter was that someone.
When he knocked the door, he stretched his neck from side to side. Scott's face surprised him because he thought the guy had gone and it was just Hope. And then when Scott asked if he was the delivery guy, Peter realized this was a new Scott.
"Nope, sorry, if I'd known though, I could have totally brought some tacos or something." He lifted up a porfolio, embossed with Stark Industries' logo. "Landlord check. Make sure you're not growing drugs or selling Filipino hookers, or kidnapping babies. Oh, and make sure you have lightbulbs. Did you get the notice?"
Did Peter drop off the notice? He couldn't remember.
