He always thought that taking some quiet time to look things over and read the pamphlet was a good idea. Since there was a prepaid card in the package, picking up some beer and pizza always seemed like decent non-destructive coping mechanisms. As for the Accords, Dr. Strange winced slightly.
"Actually, you can blame Stark for siccing his lawyers on the Feds for violating constitutional rights during an unlawful arrest. We had to break him out of The Raft. He was having another pissing contest with Secretary of State Ross, and pushed the case all the way to the Supreme Court. They ruled it unconstitutional in the U.S., and any Avengers declared a fugitive for breaking with the Accords agreement? Off the hook."
As for General Talbot, he wasn't sure about that variable.
"The last I checked on that for you, he was in a care facility. That was last year. I can check again, or you can look up that information on the network. If it will protect this timeline and losing any lives unnecessarily, we'll have to discuss prevention measures."
He paused and was certain to add, "I'm a doctor. I took an oath to save lives, not end them. If he hasn't done anything wrong, then killing him is not an option."
