There was a part of Carol that was surprised that anyone had heard about Wendy Lawson and the 'unnamed' pilot who died in a 'training exercise'. All she could think of was that it had to be a rumor that passed down by people who might have been around. It was a little odd to think that she'd been classified as an urban legend, but maybe that's what she was. After all, no one had known what had happened to her. The person closest to her just thought she was missing. Not dead, because Maria was good like that but even she'd been told that Carol had died.
Of course a lot of things had happened since then, but she enjoyed the fact that she hadn't been erased completely from history. She was still trying to find her footing here, since she was stuck on the ground, more or less. She got along well with most people, but she also didn't get to stick around long enough to really know anyone too well. This would be very different, but she was sure she could handle it.
Getting the address from her phone, she headed into the pub where she was going to meet Sam. She spotted him and headed over, with a smile and a wave. "Falcon," she greeted back with some amusement. "It's nice to meet you too. Thanks for inviting me out. I'm trying to get back to .. all this. And honestly I feel like I'm always lost."
