From Strange's perspective - after frequently checking on the rift between the two (and daring to poke his astral form into it) - things were progressing in a relatively stable manner. One false move through the space time continuum, and the entire thing might collapse. Not the sort of detail he should share on arrival, though.
"We have some left. After you, Doctor? I'll get you the welcome package and the key for an apartment at 30 Warren."
Strange stepped aside, the cape gesturing in a right this way motion toward the open portal, where the interior of the Sanctum could be seen. Before they could depart, Strange looked squarely at Bruce, reminding himself that many new arrivals were coming into this dimension with memories of their death or a bitter defeat.
"I know this doesn't fix what happened, and it's not meant to diminish what you've experienced," Strange began to say, serious and somber. "Things didn't go the same way here, as they did over there. We took Thanos' arm in Wakanda and we have the remaining stones. Wanda destroyed the Mind Stone. He can't complete the set anymore."
Strange hoped that might offer a small amount of comfort, even if it was of the cold variety.
