"Ah." Loki looked skyward for a moment, as though contemplating the situation. He looked back at Peter and Gamora. "I have helped clean up an avenue already, and have expended much energy in doing so. However, should you be in need, I suppose that I can offer further aid to you both. Be it by shielding you, or otherwise keeping you from harm while you dispose of these beasts."

Of course, what drained a fair amount of energy was the shortcut he took, but he wasn't volunteering that information. He could use some more sugary beverages, but this street corner didn't have a Starbucks. Maybe there was one on the next block over. If they were open.

"Lead on," he said, gesturing to the street, "and I shall do what I can."

Given the plethora of weird shit he'd seen over the course of his life since being abducted from Earth as a child, the sharknadoes were pretty out there. Not the weirdest, but they still ranked pretty high on the weird-shit-o-meter on Peter's scale. The real question he had on his mind, was what caused it? Or who? He was definitely more the type to act first and think later, but he couldn't help but wonder if this was just some bizarre phenomenon or if there was more to it than that. He supposed he didn't need an answer now. Taking down the sharks before they killed anyone else was more the priority.

"On it," he said when told to lead on. "Not sure if there's actually an effective way to do this. A start from the bottom and work up or just.. aim and hope but this is probably going to be more trial and error than anything." Since they were still in a very unstable situation and didn't know what to expect, both he and Gamora were always armed when they left the hotel. Even on their not!date he hadn't left without his quad blasters and enhancements on his boots to allow him to fly. He tapped his heels on the ground and kicked off upward.

"I realize the reference is lost on you," he called down to Gamora and Loki. "But this is like some weird Jaws meets Star Wars battle and I'm kinda digging it." He aimed his blasters at a shark as it passed by and shot it out of the tornado.

"Gamora!" He called down to her; not that she wouldn't see a falling shark, but still.
