"Enough!" The two of them, bantering back and forth, both on opposite sides of the spectrum was giving him a headache. The movie, the conversation, everything was more than he'd expected.
He was more affected by this than he'd thought, and rightfully so but as a King, nothing was his, not even his emotions. This whole time, he'd tried his best to allow nothing to bother him. At this rate though, he'd be crying and eating pancakes again soon enough..or sitting in his closet, listening to Taylor Swift. Either option was appropriate.
"I will speak with Jane about options. I can guarantee that even if the apple was brought up, she would refuse it. How can I expect her to take on immortality when she cannot think past next week? Val, the trials are such for a reason -- if a person take s the apple without fully committing to it well.... minds do break, the soul can fester, and I will not be responsible for that. I do not expect her to do a heroic feat either. I think we will need to rely on Eir and the soulforge, Loki."
He sighed softly and gave a small smile. "I do appreciate you both discussing this with me. And watching this horrendous film. It has given me some things to ponder, which si what I needed. I will have to speak with Jane though. That much is clear. I can no longer put it off."
