There were several things that Loki couldn't fathom about Midgard. One of those things was their love of spicy or greasy foods, including the utterly reviled pizza. What they considered entertainment, he thought lacked refinement and therefore was laughable (except for bar rescues and British baking). He couldn't understand their mundane fashions (although he wore it well if he dared leave the Warehouse). And he particularly didn't think much of Midgardians in general, but was much more passive about it than he had been when sent forth at Thanos' behest (for obvious reasons).
Midgardians were very frail creatures with incredibly short lifespans, and they aged far too quickly for him to fathom. But what seemed particularly unfair in the grand scheme of things was when they died young, with a life barely lived. By his standards, the individuals in such a film were mere children, and all of it was perplexing and overly mushy. Which surely must explain why he reached over halfway through the film, and was holding onto the Valkyrie's hand. Indeed. The film made him do it.
As the credits rolled, he bore the exact same facial expression as when the Hulk came barreling into the arena on Sakaar. He finally chanced a glance over at his brother, absorbing what was being said. It was a moment longer before he deemed fit to speak.
"Seventy-eight percent of Midgardians liked this? It's horrible. I hate it. I never want to see it again."
