Her mother meant to be calming but the princess was not pleased with her reply, a very insistent question forming in her mind. She thought it best not to ask and stayed quiet a few moments, deciding on skipping the question. "It shouldn't be resolved for her. She should choose her own path." She spoke firmly, calmer than one might normally expect of the young girl. "He just said I couldn't wrap my legs around him. Because he's a boy." She tried to make her tone sound as scandalous as her father had made it seem but she didn't really understand.
"Mother, don't you love Daddy then?" The princess' question was quiet, thinking it would be terribly tragic if her parents didn't love each other. She knew it was very possible but she had never thought about it, just assumed they had to be in love. Her eyes got a little tearful at the thought of it and that she might one day live like that.
