There was a soft, surprised 'oof!' as Zuma suddenly landed in her lap and Zahira instinctively wrapped her arms around her daughter to keep her from falling any further. An amused smile curled her lips as the papers were plucked from her hands and she allowed Zuma a few seconds to read them, before she took them back and rolled them up. They weren't trade secrets, but still, they were hers and they didn't need to be read right now by her youngest.
Zahira laughed very softly as Zuma called her smart and then explained that she just simply had to help her figure out how to get the Princess out of a 'stupid marriage' to someone she didn't know. And emphasized it all with a pout that said she wasn't going to be budging.
"You know," the wife of the Firelord said calmly, setting her papers aside and brushing back Zuma's hair. "I didn't know your father when I was married to him. Our marriage was very much a political arrangement. And I care for him very much. So why do I have to help you figure out how to get Princess Xiu Mei out of a marriage?"
