"I am simply worried about you," he reminded with another small sigh, he attempting to clam himself, scratching at his chest again. He really did hate shirts, and it did show. He frowned very sharply at the comment about his master, his lips pressing into a thin line as his entire face darkened. No he was not going to snap or explode this time, but he was not happy about her attacks on the woman. He and Sato were very close, he did not appreciate her comments.
He shifted his arm away from her, he almost glaring glaring at her, though he did restrain himself. "Sato has been a wonderful teacher and friend to me," he chided carefully. That frown deepened all the more when she went on to speak about Earthbending. His face acutally flushed, he mortified that his sister would speak so rudely in front of the visiting princess, a friend of hers, no less! He drew in a slow breath to keep himself centered, sitting in silence as Min brought the tea, he nodding to her and held his tongue until the servant had left.
"Zuma," he began at long last after a slow sip from his tea. "...I know you are proud of your Firebending, and I know that you are skilled at it. But please be mindful of others and refrain from insulting or belittling other forms of Bending or fighting, especially when those who practice that art are present. As much as you love Firebending, Earthbenders love their Bending, and Waterbenders love their Bending, just as much as I love my training, regardless of if I can Bend or not. It is part of our identities, who we are. Insulting an entire style simply because it is not yours is incredibly rude and insensitive. I would have hoped for better from a princess." He was lecturing yes, but his tone was soft and neither sneering or spiteful. "Firebending is life, so the great masters have written, but the Earth is lasting, and no matter how much fire it is scorched with, it will survive and it will regrow. Waterbenders have the power to heal, which is truly an incredible gift. Please try to be respectful of the other styles, and do not fall victim to the same ideas which our ancestors did." Kozu knew and loved history, he had studied the history of many nations and Bending styles, he was not one to be trifled with on the topic.
