Xiu returned to the low table and checked the top of the tea pot, "Min," she called out and as always the woman appeared as if by magic. "We will be needing a fresh pot and another cup for Zuma, thank you." the woman disappeared through the door she had come through before. That done she moved to sit across from Kozu, knowing better than to try to sit next to him or too close. She did feel for his concerns over his sister and her possible boy, but she knew he would have to simply let it go in order to let himself have a little peace. Not that she would say such since it could lead Zuma to believe that she had her approval, she was still very much a child and needed to be looked after so she would not leave herself open to being taken advantage of.
It was hard for her to take her eyes away from him, thinking his little frown adorable though she quickly chided herself for thinking such. She shouldn't be making eyes at him in front of his little sister. While the silence was somewhat comfortable she knew better than to let it linger for too much longer. "How is your elbow feeling?" she asked him with a gentle smile on her lips. It was something to talk about and might ease him into lying, though the idea of her making him lie still did not sit well with her.
