Ko was completely caught up in all the sensations, the touches, the tastes, the scent of the foreign princess. His brain had stopped fully functioning a few minutes past, and any chance he had of thinking clearly vanish as cool fingers slid under his shirt and to his stomach. A low, ruff sound left him at the feeling, his body instinctively pressing down and into those fingers as he kissed her more deeply, fingers pressing further into her hair, he loved the silky feel between his fingers as he pressed his mouth to hers.
He did not hear the first sound, so a look of confusion claimed his features as she pressed a hand to his face to make him stop. He did freeze and strained his ears, eyes flying wide and body tensing solid as he heard the sound as well. "Monkeyfeathers," he swore softly under his breath as panic tried to size him. Xiu Mei rolled away and he quickly stood, looked down, thought better of it all and sat again. His heart pounded in his ears, he nodding in agreement with Xiu's words, pulling the pillow to his lap. He set it, then adjusted it, then adjusted it again, uttered a curse before adjusting it yet again. That would have to do.
His eyes snapped further open and face turned somewhat ashen for a split second when he saw Zuma enter. Oh, no. Not Zuma. He quickly pushed a small smile on to his lips as she entered, he reached to set a hand on the small of her back briefly in a greeting. "You should knock, it's rude to barge into someone's chambers," he scolded rather gently, then shrugged. He glance to Xiu, grateful that she started answering, he was not terribly used to lying, and his brain was still not fully functioning. "Xiu and I were in a discussion, Min wandered off somewhere," he spoke, looking innocently around. Oh dear, where had Min gone? "I do believe we were so occupied our tea went cold..."
