Zuma had run all over the palace looking for Xiu Mei...except the most obvious of places, her quarters. She should have looked there first; Xiu Mei almost seemed as much a hermit as Kozu lately. Maybe because Kozu had really hurt her feelings, Zuma had heard he yelled at her. Shaking her head at the thought, the princess ran past her door only to turn around and make a bit of a commotion as she tried to still herself and open the door without going sliding. Whoever invented the newest style of shoes had not had running in mind when they designed them.
She twisted the handle, eventually managing to still and open the door before running into the room. When she entered the room, she found her brother there and blinked at him oddly a moment before jumping onto the arm of Kozu’s chair and watching Xiu Mei. The young girl tilted her head and then glanced at Kozu briefly before turning back to Xiu Mei. “Your servant did a poor job on your hair this morning, Xiu Mei.” She commented innocently, leaning forward to brush down the older princess’ hair before turning to her brother and frowning. “You are not supposed to...where is her chaperone?” Though Zuma did not understand why there were rules about men and women not spending time alone together she knew her brother did not break rules.
