"Really!?" she nearly squeaked with excitement, but she quickly calmed herself and cleared her throat as if the word had never passed her lips. "Really?" she repeated, lower and more evenly. "I-" she found she could not look at him even if he wasn't looking at her. "I've been thinking about you an awful lot as well." she bit her lip a little, her cheeks flushing crimson. "In fact, the flowers are alive because of you. Had they not been from you I would have let them surrender to death long ago." she admitted as she found herself slowly moving to the edge of her chair to help close the distance between them, though the low coffee table was in the way.
Apparently Min could not have found a better moment to interrupt them, setting down the service and looking expectantly at her mistress. "I, uh, thank you, Min. That should be all for now." she could hardly look at the woman as she bowed and left, and could not help but to feel like a fool, even if Ko had interest in her as well. This was going to dramatically change things for the both of them as it would probably be hard to remain just friends after admitting something like that.
