Gia found herself watching the guy. He grew up on the street. She supposed she should feel sorry for him, but there were so many people that sealed their own fate and there were a lot of animals that were left on the street. She didn't know what his case was either way and wasn't sure how she felt about it. "I grew up on a farm." She stated in a more positive tone. "So I know more domestic ways of caring for animals as well if you ever need to know something I should be able to help. I'm here every day." It was out there, though she wasn't too sure about it.
Grinning, the woman took his hand, gripping it and going for a handshake. "Jene...in construction." She repeated, hoping to file it away for later, though she did laugh lightly. "I don't know that I'd call it animal whispering, but it sounds better than zoo woman." She shrugged and then smiled wide. "Domestic stuff I learned at home on the farm, everything else I learned here from the owner. He's older now and I've taken responsibility on to help."
