Jene didn't get it, but he was the kind to accept that there were many things he did not get. He had few things he really cared about, there was his brother, his bending, his gang and his money, that was about it, really, so maybe it was a good thing he didn't get her. He was selfish when it all came down to it, though he could put on the illusion of truly caring when he was close to getting something he wanted.
"Yeah, doing something stupid around somethin' like that could cost ya, bit time," he offered with a low chuckle. He nodded his head, fingers still twined behind it, at the display. "I imagine it's worse with those cubs around. That's one mean momma." Jene had never been very big on mothers, but that was another story entirely. "Oh wow, so you really know your stuff," he offered. "You like.... a Moose-lion whisperer?" He offered along with another quick smile. Compliment the girl, see if that made her light up any.
