"Thank you, Ko, I..." she did her best to smile for him but she found she could not fully complete the action. Looking into his eyes seemed to stop her speaking or smiling in that moment, strange chills running through her. She squeezed his hands in an effort to bring herself back and looked away from his eyes, she felt as if she should have hugged him, kissed him or said something that would fix everything for the two of them, but when she didn't it left the moment even more awkward, at least for her. "Thank you," she started again. "I appreciate that and I want you to know that I extend to you the same." at least she knew that while she was with him her problems seemed far away, as if she had left most of them back home.
Her room was not far and after a final squeeze to his hands she turned towards it, taking a few steps before looking back at him. "I enjoyed spending time with you today, Kozu, I should very much like to do it again soon, perhaps when I am smelling a little better." she finally did manage to complete that sweet smile.
