Kozu was less interested in getting his throne back as finding a purpose, a goal, but he had for a very long time, failed at expressing this. He gave a thin sigh at her suggestion, shrugging his shoulders, rubbing at his chest. The shirt was irritating him as all shirts did, but he forced himself to stop fussing with it. He nodded at her statements, sincerely hoped that he would find his destiny, though by now he was beginning to doubt it. Everyone seemed to expect him to do something, to find a purpose, yet he could not seem to let go of the one he had been raised to achieve. He had grasped onto his training and his master as a way to cope and focus, but that had, obviously, not been the best approach.
He nodded his head in a quick reply to her question. He would not want to turn her down for anything currently, especially not after the way he had behaved. He seemed to excel at annoying those he cared most about, even when trying to make things better he had irritated Xiu.
"Of course I do not mind," he spoke quickly, a bit of color coming to his cheeks. He had not noticed how she smelled... oh no... not at all... "I simply... I would not want to trouble you." It was an honest concern, he well knew that his presence was often insufferable, Sato made no secret of this fact. He started to say something else when his eyes suddenly went wide. "Oh!" He took a step back and nodded his head, a wordless request to be excused. He turned and quickly moved to gather up the large bouquet, stepping back into the room with the collection fo flowers. "I thought you might... I wanted to give you these," he murmured, feeling rather foolish and oddly bashful.
