Your chameleon halo
Who: Kozu, OTA When: Thursday Evening Where: Outside a meat cart near the City Center What: Eating and avoiding family Ever since the quake, Ko had felt somewhat smothered by those he loved. His family had banded together, united by the tragedy. There was much to be done and he was being noticed, this was an issue for the prince. He had poured himself into repairing the Sword and Fan, but after so much time there, Master Sato got tired of seeing him. Or pretended she was tired of seeing him, he was never entirely sure if she honestly felt that way, or if it was an act she put on. Oddly enough, something told him it was an act, at least to some extent. Too bad the knot on the back of his head said otherwise.
It was dinner time, he had been booted out of the Sword and Fan, and he did not feel like dining with the family, so Kozu was doing something highly unusual for him. He was out in public, having purchased a small plate of meat and steamed cabbage from a cart, and was seated at a table now. He had chosen to sit outside, and was seated at a small table under a tree. He was out of the way, able to watch those around him move about, and would be able to sit silently and eat. Master Sato would not approve.
He breathed a slow sigh, taking a bite of his meal, absently rubbing at the neck of his shirt. He was not used to wearing a shirt, the collar was irritating him. Still, it was rude to take his shirt off while eating, or at least that was what had been pounded into his head, so he put up with it. A hint of a smile touched his lips as he chewed his food. It was better than he expected, not palace food by any means, but it was a nice change of pace, at least.
