"I have thought about it, yes," said Azah. "But it is his burden to bear, and my duty to ease the burden as much as I can."
She smiled faintly at Xiu's accidental pun. "I think I can find it in my heart to forgive your pun...and it is unsettling to think of the two of us ruling nations. No matter how many years I've had to get used to the idea, it's one thing to talk about it and another thing to live that reality. At least the world is much more peaceful than it was a hundred and fifty years ago."
There were, of course, minor conflicts and battles, but there had not been any wars since the end of the hundred year war waged by the Fire Nation. The Fire Nation had since become more multicultural and inclusive, as an attempt to stave off the superiority complex Fire Lord Souzen had once had. The other nations had a voice, and they had their own representatives.
"Not personally," she replied in response to Xiu's query. "But I can help you find one."
