Naida's waterbending lessons to her older students had been considerably more hands on and practical than usual. As the healing instructor, she'd taken them to infirmaries where they could do some good. Not only would her students be able to practice, but it also provided a valuable lesson as far as seeing people in pain. Not everyone could stomach the sight of injuries, and if they were going to be healers, they had to be prepared for the worst. Of course, she'd still spared them the very worst, and merely given them a preview of what they would be dealing with when they graduated. The positive side to this was that she was also teaching them that they could help, and being less experienced didn't mean they couldn't contribute. For her shyest students, she thought that lesson had helped their confidence a little. She'd praised everyone when they did things correctly, and kept her criticism constructive and private.
After a long day, she was ready to have some tea and relax. She also wanted to see how Basim was doing, and the odds were good that her husbad was at the Jasmine Dragon visiting.
When she arrived, she noticed with some mild surprise that her husband was talking to the youngest member of the Fire Nation's royal family.
"Good afternoon," she greeted with a pleasant smile and a small respectful nod to acknowledge Zuma's position. Naida had never seen the need to be overly formal unless in a very formal situation.
