Palace, OTA
Zuma had been sound asleep in her bed at the palace, her thin, fancy silk sheets kicked to the end of the bed. When the quake hit, she hadn’t felt the rumbling and blissfully slept on but then the shaking pushed things off walls and dressers and she shot up. She was groggy and not feeling her strongest with the lack of sunlight and it took her minutes to get her bearings. The young princess yawned and stretched her arms high above her head.
And, then, a large painting above her bed fell next to her with the rumbling and she jumped out of bed and screeched loudly. “Daddy!!!!” She screamed as loud as she could, not fully expecting anyone but guards and servants to hear her cries.
“Koko! Daddy!” Tears poured down her face as she continued to shriek into the thundering palace.
