As the song ended and she opened her eyes, she was pleased to find that he was not staring at her with an odd look. Hopefully he had been too absorbed in what he was saying to pay much attention. How was she supposed to explain it if he asked? 'Oh, just the thought of you shirtless does funny things to my insides'. That would go over well, right up to the point where it would make him so uncomfortable that he would never speak to her or look her in the eye again. She was simply tired from her long journey, her mind wasn't where it should have been. This was Ko, after all, feeling anything for him beyond the norm was just silly.
"That should be very interesting to watch." she nodded in agreement with herself, not sure what to say to him at this point. It was easier when they were children, everything could always be fixed and talking wasn't all that important. But he was her friend and she would try to do her best to spend time with him while she was there. "I'm happy to hear you are doing so well, Ko, everyone has been worried about you, but you seem to be doing just fine these days."
