In many ways, Ko was not a shining example of the Fire Nation. His attentions did not burn bright and die out like most from his nation, it was a consistent, deep, all consuming kind of concentration. He was even lacking the golden eyes that all in his family sported. His attitude was so very different from everyone else that it had made the walls he had built all the more striking, all the easier to build. Sato had fallen neatly within the realm of his training, it made her easy to incorporate into his life. "I hope I make her proud," he echoed with a nod.
"Yes... it has been quite a while since I've been to the beach," he agreed with a nod. He had been avoiding going, preferring to focus entirely on his training rather than spending time with his family. They were part of something he no longer fit into, as he was no longer Crown Prince, he was, to his mind, no longer welcome within that world. It made no sense to anyone but himself, but that was simply the way Kozu saw things, black and white, outlined and mapped out, clearly defined. "Though I am sure I will have to listen to my sister complain about my not wearing a shirt there as well," he murmured, rolling his eyes slightly. "...Have you any plans for the festivals?"
