Kozu was fortunate that he had found Sato, or rather that she had found him. He would not have put up with someone coddling him, it would have resulted in Ko immediately pushing that individual away. He did not want sympathy or pity, this was his life and this was simply how things had unfolded. "She is a wonderful teacher, and friend." He added the last bit rather softly. He had so very few friends, he wondered if Sato knew how much she meant to him. Probably better he did not bring it up, or he would be likely to suffer yet another blow to the head. The thought brought a small smile to his lips.
"Oh no, you don't need to leave..." He assured quietly, she was not pouting, screeching or stomping like his sister, so there was truly no reason for her to leave. "Though I do always enjoy your playing," he offered. He nodded at her suggestion, looking thoughtful for a moment. "Yes, yes I think that would please Master Sato greatly. Perhaps a vacation to Ember Island?" He mentally filed that information away, telling himself he would have to find her some sort of a gift. He was very good with names, however dates were another issue entirely, and he did not want to hurt Xiu's feelings any more than he already had.
