"No, it's alright." she knew it was a topic that would only drag down the general spirit of the room and conversation, the conversation was already dark enough as it was. "I know it has been difficult for you, and while I may not have gone through the same thing, I do understand. You don't need to explain it, we do not even need to talk about it unless you feel you need to." she would not hit him, she would not even utter a word that was not supportive of him. He was her friend and she cared about him, but she would be respectful and not push against his boundaries.
"She's a teenage girl, Kozu, something is always going to be amiss with her, but I will keep an eye out for her. After all, she is more likely to talk about her troubles to her friends than her big brother, my brother is sixteen now and he is the very same way with me." his problems tended to deal with girls, he only ever came to his older sister about them when he screwed up and wanted to test his apologies and gifts out on her first.
Thinking of her brother reminded her of what had happened to that pipa Kozu bought for her. "It was, though I think the replacement you bought ended up smashed over my music teacher's head when he made my brother cry. He said his fingers were too fat at the time to play the matouqin, so I thought it was fair to hit him." she smiled a little at that memory.
