Hello, everyone. I bring you Lux (which I'm hoping she is welcomed into the game). She is 22 years of age and from the mean streets of Boston. She was raised by her father who is a Sergeant Major for the Marines. He tried to raise her as his own weapon of destruction (her power consists of pyrokinesis ). She was soon taken in by her aunt, Jessica Kennedy. She's the long lost sister of Lane and she's basically the black sheep of her family. She now works in a local music store and DJ's at night. She's also apart of the Sovereign.
Other than her aunt and brother, she's got no lines. I'm open for anything! Feel free to read her bio, and if she fits anything you need, let's plot.

Hello! Hopefully bringing in this lovely fellow right here. Name is Henri Greyson Ballard, though he usually goes by H.G.. [And the face is going to be Mr. Andrej Pejic.] He'll be 24 years old, former Sovereign spy for both of the Paris and London branches but as of recently he is tucking tail and signing up with the Council as a refugee. Born and raised in Paris until the age of 8 when his father and mother moved to London for 'business opportunities'. From the age of 14 he committed a few crimes to earn himself detention and therapy, then in 2005 he was hit with a few more charges. The outcome is that he has to announce his arrival to law enforcement and any Augmented associations in the city. (Yeah kinda in that creepy way, but more in a way that his abilities are considered to be threats if he uses them for the wrong reasons.)[May end up going with his grandfather being one of the volunteers with the military during the 1950s.] Oh! He will be a student at University of Chicago, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Gender Studies. Hmmmm....what else do you need to know...Henri is a very happy and cheerful person, but tends to be extremely nervous about meeting new people. Well that's enough rambling! I should have his history done before I go to bed tonight. Any lines would be amazing, though he is a transplant to Chicago. He has been very active in the online 'chatter' with both the Sovereign and most recently the Council.

hi guyssss! i have two characters i want to bring in, but as i've never played a super hero game before, i'm still working a little on filling them out. and if anyone really needs something specific, they can be scrapped altogether. i'm about as flexible as mr. fantastic. both my boys are recycled, so like i said, i am so willing to change things.
boy number one is adiran telfair, who shares a face with vin diesel. in the past, he's been a version of dominic toretto [fast and the furious, just in case], but slightly happier. and yes, he's always been a mechanic. call me unoriginal if you must. :D anyway this time around i thought i'd give him the power of astral form. however, since he's kind of an ass and has had a rough life, he basically looks out for number one, remaining unaffiliated and only using his power to further himself, and that means usually only using it to get inside an engine and really figure out what's going wrong with it. he figures as long as he sticks to what he knows, he won't get singled out as some kind of freak. however, he's not all bad, and could very likely be persuaded to join a fight for equality if the right person came along and gave him a good pep talk. also i don't think it's possible to have vin diesel and paul walker in the same game and not have them be friends. just sayin'.
my second boy, laney, is still in his infancy, because while he is recycled, he's never actually seen any action. he looks uncannily like johnny weir, but doesn't act much like him. he's flamboyant at times, sure, when he's around close friends or has had a little too much to drink, but for the most part, he's quiet, goes through life making as few waves as possible. i have no idea what power to give him, he'd have to be council or unaffiliated, because he's too shy to be ARC and too nice to be sovereign. he's already got one identity crisis going, since he's got a girlfriend [provided someone will fill the role] but is slowly realising and working on admitting to himself that he bats for the other team.

So, hey there again, folks. I come to you now, a writer flummoxed. (Wow, Firefox. Flummoxed is a word, and combinations isn't? Really?)
IN ANY CASE: Plot is obviously going well for my more active two characters (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) demps, I owe you a forward-dated investigation log, if you're still interested!) However, Tony here has really sort of hit a slump, since the death of his BFF and subsequent seclusion of his other BFF and fake little sister. So, I figured I would post and see if anyone wanted/needed him for anything.
Not an ultimatum, considering it is just sort of the nature of writing sometimes, but if no one is interested in seeing something build with Tony, who/what would anyone be interested in, if I were to pick up a new third character? I had a general idea of a human nurse to work with agere, a public servant who might be less-than-pleased about the new developments with the Augmented (PB probably Sarah Ramirez or Dana Delaney). Or~ a lawyer who represents vigilantes and other augmented types, who may or may not have a power of his own. Original idea was a blind Christopher Gorham (don't judge) with Remote Viewing and/or Communication, but it might turn into Jeffery Dean Morgan with some other gift. I'm flip-flopping about it.
All of that said, if anyone had someone they were desperately looking to see in game, just let me know! I can and will write just about anything, if the inspiration is that. That's my only problem with Tony, recently, sadly: No inspiration :(
So. Hit me! And/or, if anyone wants anything from dariya or theorourke, I have the rest of the week off. Plenty of plotting ahoy!

Hey guys. Renee again. Yes, I know. Not again, you say. Sorry.
Anyway, while I was working on the bio for my new boy here, I thought I'd put him out here and see if anyone could use him for anything. Or even if you don't need him, would be interested in doing something with him. I would love to get him some lines ahead of time.
This is Kristopher Colten Daniels, Junior. Yes, he hates his name too. So he goes by K.C. or Kasey instead. In fact, other than a few people who were in kindergarten or first grade with him, most everyone thinks Kasey is his real name. Kasey was born and raised in Chicago, was fairly popular all throughout school and played football and baseball in high school. He went to the University of Illinois, Chicago. He was highly involved in a number of the intermural sports there. He graduated about four and a half years ago. I haven't decided on a major yet, nor where he will be working since he's graduated, so if anyone needs/wants something, let me know.
However, it was during his freshman year in college that his powers started developing. In the most basic sense, he has the power of postcognition, however it's closer to memory absorption than anything else. Touching another person meant that he would absorb their memories, starting with the strongest - often the most recent or something particularly memorable - and working his way on down. It doesn't in any way harm the other person or their memories, simply allows Kasey to "see" what they have seen. At first, stopping the absorption was very difficult, but since then, while he can't stop it from happening, he has learned to pull himself away. The weaker the memory, the easier it is to separate himself from the person. He can also absorb memories from inanimate objects. The people who have handled the objects leave a sort of imprint behind and touching that object allows for the absorption of the imprinted memories.
All of that is strictly through touch and even then, only through his hands. So while physical contact is not completely off the table for him, direct contact with his hands is something he avoids, so he always wears a pair of gloves. Many people who don't realize that he is augmented or don't realize how his powers work assume he's sort of a germaphobe. Also, because he is so limited on things he can touch directly, he doesn't let anyone touch the few things he has that don't have the imprints of other people on them. So there are a fair number of people, including a couple of ex-roommates and exes in general, that think he's obsessive. Like Monk. Just without the compulsions.
He'll probably be pretty neutral for the moment, although more inclined towards the Council, even though he hates his powers and wants to be normal.
So anyone interested in anything please let me know. What I have of his bio is here. Like I said though, there's a lot I haven't really decided on yet, so I can be flexible to accommodate any lines. Anyway, hit me up! I really want to make sure this kid can hit the ground running once I get him finished.

Ok ok, so i probably should have done this a while ago. My name is Kerry and i am bringing you Anna McKnight.
A brand new face to both the game and the city of Chicago she just moved here from London. She is a well brought up kind of girl, her parents are wealthy (her father is an MP back in England - if that means anything to anyone - maybe even makes her a juicy target of sorts in political games?) yet she has been paying her own way since graduating from university. She is 28 years old now and works in the Chicago History Museum. She has a passion for reading, history and study. She is, in essence, an academic sort.
She is augmented (psychometry and memory manipulation) but remains unaffiliated because she is completely closeted about her abilities.
I am looking for ALL sorts of lines. Anything you might want to throw at her. As i said, she is new to town so all things can be cultivated. Friends, enemies, colleagues, neighbours, people trying to sway her affiliation, people to force her to out her augmentation....all suggestions welcome!

Ello ello, Erin here with the next newbie! This is Travis St. John, a Chicago native, long-term former boyfriend of Juliet Everly, best friend to Andy Rockway, and hopefully just as well known to many other characters in the game. He's been out of the city for the past two and a half years for reasons that are mostly unknown but he's returning to the city after hearing about Jaime's murder.
I'd love to establish relationships that he may have left behind when he removed himself from the city, especially with people who were part of Juliet and Andy's social circle back in the day (they definitely would have known this sucker), or pretty much anyone who was in the city at that point. He's been doing a lot of traveling around the country too, so if your character is more of a new citizen to Chicago there could be some potential for him to have met your pups at some point too.

so if you saw that first plea for lines... completely ignore it. I wasn't feeling the direction I had intended to take with her at all. so, I've put her on a new Celldweller inspired path. she was still born in Brazil, move to Miami with her parents when she was five and witnessed them being brutally murdered by two augmented men in their home. the guys tried killing her but couldn't and didn't have time to do it the "human" way because the cops showed up. she bounced around foster homes until she was 18 when she went out on her own. she had been perfecting her profession since she was 14 was basically whatever illegal odd job she could get her hands on that wasn't murder. at 24, she had accrued so many enemies that it was no longer safe for her to stay in Miami so for the past six years she's been traveling all over the States, still doing whatever odd job she wants. she has most recently (like within the past two years) become very well known for corporate espionage. she likes breaking apart companies by getting at those that are most important to the hierarchy and turning them against one another or convincing them that they can't live without her blahblahblah. she's a modern day harlot/succubus/whatever.
so now she's landed herself in Chicago! now, what she doesn't realize is that she has the power of (insert void or nullify here). she doesn't know why those men weren't able to kill her and hasn't really tried to figure it out. that night has everything to do with how sadistic she is now and visiting it hurts more than you can imagine, so she ignores it!
she's not affiliated because she doesn't realize she's got an augment, but if/when she finds out she'll more than likely be with the Sovs. right now she's plotting to infiltrate the Council via ~demps to get as much information for ~corinnev that she can, but other than that she's wide open for lines!

Hello, hello! After plowing through this guy's bio last night and today I am pleasantly surprised to say that he has now been apped! As such, I'd love to see what sort of past connections he might be able to have. I'm not too terribly crazy about setting up specific upcoming/future storylines or connections although I am very much open to figuring out a way for our characters to cross paths where a connection or "storyline" may develop. That being said, I do think he should be able to have pre-established connections to several of your characters. So after getting off my soapbox here...
This guy is Dempster Vance, ~corinnev's big brother. He's a Chicago native whose thirty-four years old and has only been away from home from age 18-24 for college. He is an Augmented with the primary ability of Mental Blast accompanied by the secondary ability of Mental Shield. He's been loyal to The Council since they were officially established in 2005 and prior to that, he was familiar with some of the senior members as his father was heavily involved from the time the "support group," formed in the 70's. He's recently just taken over the Head of Personnel for The Council and I would love if there might be some animosity present because of that. He went above Joe to D.C. HQ to get the promotion from field agent and honestly, he's more than qualified for the position. He might be a little difficult to approach for those who don't really know him because he's very private and keeps himself detached. He does have a bit of a hero complex where he has a strong desire to be worshiped for pretty much being one of the good guys if not THE good guy. Overall he'd be pretty friendly if a bit withdrawn. He's a workaholic where if he's not working at his day job, he's doing what he can for The Council and their cause.
So, yeah. I think that's it. I'd love to hear any ideas you lovely people might have and I'm anxious to join you all!

Hi everybody! I shall soon be bringing in Talulah Wesson. She is an integrator for the Sovereign and a bit crazy, you know messed up childhood and all that good stuff. Her powers are Illusion(p) and Hellfire Control(s).She doesn't let a lot of people in and keeps to herself mostly because of some trust issues, but I would genuinely like to get some lines that would help her adjust to interaction with others. I don't have a detailed plan as to how long she had been with the Sovereign or where she was "stationed" so I am open to suggestions if you need her somewhere. I also was kind of hoping for some sort of love interest, because she isn't used to any sort of affection and I think it would be interesting to see how things would play out with that. Hello! Hello! I'm bringing in this handsome fellow right here sometime soon. Misha/Nevin is the brother to ~dariya, currently sided with the Sovereign (he's currently going on 6 years of dedicated service. previously working out of both the london and vegas branches. he worked with the Council for six months before returning to the Sovs.), and i'm hoping to have him ranked as Head of Intelligence, he spent most of his college days assisting the United States military (army and AF) in exchange for his criminal record being wiped clean, he has an IQ of 157, his bestest friend in the entire world is ~corinnev. He has ties with the Russian Mafia, as well as several other organized crime groups. What else...he was ~aceline's ex that jumped off a building on her command. Oh I guess I should mention his ability is MIMIC. Anyways, this looks like one giant ramble, so if you want to know anything else just check out his profile.

Alright, my doves. It is I, Vicki, with another character to throw in and spice my life up. With Joe in jail and Juliet a depressed puddle of mud, I needed a fresh face to get me back in here. Not that shes brand new, I've sort of been working on her for a little while.
Please meet Camilla Laine Rockway, aka Andy's cousin from Brooklyn. Now, I want to put this out there now so people will be prepared for this wonderment; Camilla is famous. She goes by Camilla Laine in public, and is a musician. Shes not some tarty pop star (though some of her pictures would suggest otherwise) but a serious musician. Think Adele/Sara Bareilles/Christina Perri (the last of which I am saying she sounds more like). If you don't know who these amazing people are, YouTube them this instant. Now, that being said, Camilla is looking for downtime in Chicago. She'll more then likely put on a few acoustic shows here and there, make appearances at rallies and the like, but for the most part, she's looking to be a regular girl. Just plain old Milly Rockway (thats what she goes by at home. None of this Camilla crap) I've decided to keep her unaffiliated for the time being, but I'm almost certain she'll follow Andy's lead and stick it out with Council, if push comes to shove.
For lines, well.. she's going to be a transplant. Brand new to town, but I wouldn't mind some future plotting with you people, just so I know where I'm going to be taking her. I'll put this out there now, she might be in need of a little bit of a bamf streak, get into a little trouble before going down the straight and narrow, so if any of you have ideas of how that can go? Hey everyone! I've been eying this game for awhile and I finally decided that I want to join. So, with that, I present to you a pain in the ass Corinne Vance AKA Nemesis. You guessed it, she has the 'Nemesis' ability and she's batting for The Sovereign. Her bio is posted, but still a work in progress.
The basic run down on Corinne is that she has a cutthroat, holds no bar, take no prisoners kind of personality. She is definitely a woman scorned but she doesn't talk about that much. As a matter of fact, she hardly talks about her past at all so it's best not to ask. She likes to keep people on their toes, always guessing, and things like that. She's not exactly what you consider to be anti-social, but she isn't exactly the most friendly. Being civil or cordial to her is pretty friendly. Um, her family is a part of The Council but she doesn't talk about them at all. (Line idea for you council members that could know her/know of her or be in cahoots with her brother and father, maybe?)
On a positive side, her loyalty can be unwavering if you have earned her trust. Deep down, and I'm talking about in the very pits of her soul, she cares. She refuses to do a job or anything like that if there are children involved, if no is not an option, she would go out of her way to put them in a safe place. She likes a bit of competition and if you honestly need her help, she'll do everything she can to lend a hand. Those are probably her only redeeming qualities and if anyone gives her shit over them, it pisses her off.
... After saying all of that, I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting a line. She can be a bit of a handful at times but I want to work out lines with The Sovereign members and everyone else! I would love to see a brave soul that enjoys getting under her skin, enemies, acquaintances, or what have you! I'm all for brainstorming!

But what I do know is that she'll have teleportation as her primary ability and shapeshifting as her secondary. Really thinking of putting her with the Sovereign, even there I can't pick a position. Alright I couldn't help myself. This is Manda (~khody and ~aceline) and I've got Jessica Kennedy here for your plottage fun with the face of the beautiful Kate Beckinsale. She's a 33yo AF Recruiting officer. She's got a bad past and was sent to Boot Camp after trying to rob a liquor store. It failed, she was the only one caught, and instead of going to jail she went to boot camp for six months. Once she graduated boot camp she enlisted in the Air Force and became a security forces officer which is basically base police. she discovered she had the ability of a power scanner when she found out her security forces partner could animal morph. she wasn't freaked out that he could do it but at the fact that she wasn't freaked out by it... like she knew he could do it though he never told her.
after that she moved to the AF reserves and put in a request to transfer to Chicago and has been there for six years. she's an interrogator for the Council and two years ago she developed the secondary power of electrokinesis after getting vaccinated for overseas travel. she nearly short circuited the hospital she'd been admitted to. it was awesome. she doesn't have very good control over that power, so getting her angry, excited or sad has some pretty interesting outcomes. I'm open for any lines you may or may not need. She's originally from Boston and was stationed in Little Rock for her career in active duty. HIT ME.

So, I'm making a come back after my life did a complete 360. I've had a lot of family problems, and I've been busy with work but I'm hoping I can come back and mingle my way back into this game. I've always loved the idea behind it and the concept so I've come crawling back after seeing my boy was still here <3
He's a 26 year old troubled Texan boy who has been involved in crimes all his life pretty much after killing his abusive father in his teens, rage being a prominent factor in the development of his powers, and also a big factor of the effectiveness of his powers. He has the power of Suffocate, which needs no explaination I assume XD (Just think of Sam's powers in Supernatural when he can grasp at the Demons inside of vessels) and he's also the regional Lieutenant of the Sovereign, and known as 'Misfit' out on the field as his Alias. He works at O'Malleys Irish Pub where he holds meetings down in the basement once a week, usually on Tuesday nights since it's the night where hardly anyone comes to the Bar.
But yeah, I'm basically looking for everything and anything as far as storylines go if anyone is interested.

Hey guys! It's Shelia again, with two more faces possibly coming into the game. o.o I'm already addicted to this place and I haven't even played yet! Crazy! Anyways, moving on....
First off we have Alex here, a 29 year old Augmented with the abilities of Biomemory Manipulation and Blast. In the past he worked as a Mercenary, still does occasionally, but for the most part he's just a bartender. Oh! And interrogator for the Council. He can be a bit of an ass at times, but he has a heart of gold.
Next is agere, 35 years old with the abilities of Healing and Lie Detection. She is currently working at the hospital, performing the exams for the Augmented. Hmmm, she is 100% homosexual, though she isn't entirely open about it. She hates to make people uncomfortable, but loves talking to her patients and spending time with her friends! Abbi is unaffiliated at this time.
I would love lines with all of you! And I didn't forget you guys on my previous post!
