VAU: Kareoke for The Puppies

Description: 4/10/2008 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm VAU presents "Karaoke for the Puppies" at Wackadoos in the Student Union. This event is a fundraiser benefiting two wonderful, local animals shelters; "Hound Haven Inc" and "GRRMF." Volunteers are needed to assist in the set up and break down processes. But everyone is allowed and encouraged to participate. You can sing any song you would like but there is going to be a "Scott Stapp Karaoke Contest" complete with a trophy celebration. So come on out, see and/or participate in a good show, and help the wonderful puppies at these two amazing non-profits! All volunteers are asked to be there at least an hour before doors open. Everyone else can show up at any time.

Oozefest 2008 - UCF's only mud volleyball tournament!

Description: COME GET DIRTY WITH 4EVER KNIGHTS! Where you ask? OOZEFEST 2008. Oozefest is the only mud volleyball tournament on campus, and it's hosted by the 4EVER KNIGHTS Student Alumni Association. The double-elimination 16-team tournament is played in 6 to 10 inches of mud. Six players are on the court at a time (at least 2 being female), but up to 10 students can be listed on a team roster. Each participant will receive a free Oozefest 2008 T-shirt for participating. Can't wait to get dirty with you...at OOZEFEST!

Spring Weekend
April 18-20
As the final weeks to the end of the school year approaches, SGA and WMLU have joined forces to present Spring Weekend at AU. Coupled by 3 major events: The Universal Knights, Bandfest, and various baseball games, it's going to be the most exciting and fun-filled event of the year. It will give people the opportunity to promote clubs and organizations all weekend with booths set-up around the field and to recruit people for next semester. So come out for some last minute fun before the exams.

UNIVERSAL KNIGHTS 2008
The Student Government Association at Altamont University
is proud to present "Universal Knights" on April 18, 2008 in
Universal's Islands of Adventure ®. The event will run from 5:00 p.m. until 1:00
a.m. SGA has purchased 12,000 tickets which are free of charge for AU
students who present their AU ID's to the appropriate ticket
distribution location*. Students wishing to bring a guest may purchase ONE guest ticket with a
valid UCF ID from the SGA Ticket Center located on the first floor of
the Student Union. Guest tickets will be sold during
normal SGA Ticket Center operating hours. All guest tickets are sold
on a first come first serve basis.

Come party with thousands of your fellow Knights and enjoy an
unforgetable experience brought to you by the Student Government Association.


GAME TIME- AU Soccer

Description: AU Soccer will be hosting their annual spring game on April 19th beginning at 3 pm. Prior to kick-off, fans are invited to join in the tailgate activities at lots E3-E8. Parking is complimentary. Be sure to stick around after the game for an autograph session with your Knights football team taking place on the practice fields.

Talent Showcase
April 21
Unsigned band? singer? dancer? Come out to our second talent showcase featuring the best unsigned artists in the Central Florida area. With the help of WMLU your campus radio station, producers, theme park executives and label heads will be out and about, listening to acts, answering questions, and making connections. SIGN UP will be posted in AA Orlando. Starts at 8pm. Ends with Poverty Branch (11pm stage time)
