As Myka clenched around him, Pete shuddered hard and buried his face against the crook of her neck. With his body still shuddering, he felt his stomach flip when she said she loved him, too. Part of him wanted to jump out of the bed, and yell it from the rooftop that Myka Bering loved him, but was pretty sure Leena didn't want a crazed naked man on her roof. Instead, he pulled his head back and smiled down at her.
"I'm the luckiest man ever," he whispered before he softly kissed her.
Even though he wanted to stay inside her for the rest of their lives, Pete knew it wasn't possible. He didn't want either of them to become uncomfortable so he slowly slipped out of her. "Wait here," he said after giving her a soft kiss. He got out of the bed, making sure not to trip over anything, and went to the bathroom to grab some towels. When he came back, he cleaned the both of them before he slipped back into bed.
"I'm moving in," he said with a nod as he wrapped his arms around her body and held her close. "There's no way I'm going to sleep in a bed without you from now on." He then looked at her and gave her his boyish grin. "If that's okay with you."
