Snorting softly, Myka reached up and used her index finger to press Pete's lower lip back in. "Yes, I like your icky boy stuff. You wouldn't be you if you didn't have...that stuff."
She shook her head in amusement and rested her head down again. When Pete responded to her idea of going to the Black Hill, she grinned, glad that he liked the idea. Really, where she would have liked to have gone included sun, beaches and Mai Tais, but they didn't have enough time for that. A bed and breakfast would be just wonderful because they would be together and away from strange artifacts that seemed to have a life of their own for a while.
Chuckling, she shook her head. "No, I won't make you go camping, but it means a lot to me that you'd offer if though you hate it," she told him before leaning up to kiss him. "Although it would have been entertaining to see Casey scare you."
As soon as she said it, she put her hands up. "Just kidding. Believe me, Dean got me and Ariel a few times when were growing up, so I understand. Made us think my dad's bookstore was haunted once."
Thought of her brother and sister and haunted stores went flying out the window, however, when Pete started to nuzzle her. Humming softly, she wrapped her arms around him and pressed close, feeling herself throb a bit. She'd be lying if she said that she hadn't been thinking about being with Pete lately. She hadn't been ready before, and she loved him for agreeing to take things slow, but they had gotten so close, and she knew that this was serious for both of them.
"Hmmm...I think you might have, but it's nice to hear," she told him as she ran her fingers through his hair. "You're pretty wonderful yourself."
Nudging his head up so she could look into his eyes, she smiled. "Thank you for waiting for me. It means a lot to me, you know."
